Brief History
Mile High Health Alliance was created out of Denver’s Community Health Improvement Plan in 2015. In 2016, MHHA gained its first executive director and became a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center. Since then, MHHA has brought together diverse stakeholders to collaboratively address the city’s most difficult health challenges and achieve better health for all Denver residents.
Current Status
As of April 30th, 2024, Mile High Health Alliance will be closed for the foreseeable future. Though difficult, this decision reflects the evolving landscape of healthcare systems and the changing needs of our community.
Despite sunsetting, Mile High Health Alliance’s impactful work lives on through our partners and collaborative projects. We invite you to explore our legacy and learn more about initiatives such as the Orange Flag Project, Specialty Care Access Project, Medical-Legal Partnership Project and more.
We are immensely grateful for your support over the years. Should you require further information or wish to continue the dialogue on these important issues, please don’t hesitate to contact Vicente Cardona at vicentecardona3@gmail.com.
Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. Your involvement has been crucial to our success and will continue to inspire health initiatives across our community.
